It reminds me of a story that happened in my house not very long ago. I got up went in my girl’s room on a school day. I was on autopilot. I sat down and was saying the normal broken record stuff get dressed, where’s your lunch, pick up that stuff. When my 12 going on 20 says rudely with loads of attitude get out of my room please. Well this was so out of the normal routine my autopilot could not find a response in the 30 seconds flat she gave me. I just looked at her. So she repeated herself twice more with the same attitude. And finally my brain woke up and all I said was grounded. She asked why I said think about it.
She realized what she had done in like 3 minutes while I still could not put into words what was wrong with what had happened.
